Joining NAMI Online Support Groups
NAMI Philadelphia will use Zoom to host Online Support Groups. Zoom is a web-based video conferencing tool with a local, desktop client and a mobile app that allows users to meet online, with or without video. Prior to attending a NAMI Online Support Group, you’ll need to download the Zoom application on your computer or smartphone. The NAMI Online Support Group for Individuals in Recovery is a peer-led support group for any adult who has experienced symptoms of a mental health condition. You will gain insight from hearing the challenges and successes of others, and the groups are led by trained leaders who’ve been there.
